About the Job
As Head of Operations and Continuous Improvement at Sculpted by Aimee, you will drive change and improvement across the business. It will be your role to partner closely across all teams to ensure they are optimized prioritized toward overall business goals, not team goals. You will review and enhance cross functional projects and work streams to ensure better communication, accountability and more reliable delivery of product or project outputs. You will also be responsible for bringing a continuous improvement mindset to the business leading training and upskilling in this area.
Accountabilities Include
Process Review and Optimization:
- Conduct thorough reviews of existing cross-team processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement streamlined processes that enhance inter-departmental collaboration and align with the company's strategic goals.
- Ensure that all teams are working in the best interest of the business, rather than prioritizing team-specific objectives.
Continuous Improvement:
- Establish a culture of continuous improvement across the organization by promoting best practices, encouraging innovation, and facilitating knowledge sharing.
- Implement a systematic approach to identifying, prioritizing, and executing improvement initiatives.
- Monitor the effectiveness of implemented changes and make further adjustments as needed to sustain improvements.
Cross-Team Collaboration and Alignment:
- Facilitate cross-team communication and collaboration to ensure that all departments are aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Work with team leaders to resolve conflicts, eliminate silos, and foster a collaborative working environment.
- Provide guidance and support to teams in aligning their goals with the broader business objectives.
Project Management and Accountability:
- Oversee the planning and execution of cross-team projects, ensuring that they are completed on time and within scope.
- Develop and maintain project timelines, assign responsibilities, and track progress to ensure accountability across all teams.
- Identify potential risks and roadblocks, and work proactively with teams to mitigate them.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
- Develop and implement metrics to monitor the effectiveness of cross-team processes and improvement initiatives.
- Regularly report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to the Director of Finance and other senior leadership, providing insights and recommendations for further improvement.
- Ensure transparency in reporting and that all teams are held accountable for their contributions to business-wide goals.
Leadership and Development:
- Mentor and coach team members on process improvement methodologies and project management best practices.
- Lead by example, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous learning.
Experience Needed
